Chandru, the auto driver

Today I met a really nice auto driver named chandru. He wore a monkey cap and was in his mid 20s or 30s I'm guessing.
Normally I wouldn't talk to random auto drivers but  he was different.
He asked me to pay 40 rupees when the ride would have normally cost around 25 to 30 rupees.
I agreed because it was late and I wanted to go home. Instead of just being happy with the extra 10 rupees, he went on to ask me why I had agreed.
He told me that next time someone asks me for extra, I should ask them why and not give in.
We went on to have a nice conversation about where he was from and how he wanted to go back to his native Mandya and start a new business.
I really liked this driver. I feel like he taught me something in that 5 minute journey.
It's times like these when you see that there are nice people who care a little. I like this life that I'm living. I like this world and the people in it.
Some horrible people might make me change my mind because of some stupid incident, but for now, this is how I feel. And I like it.
Where ever you may be Chandru, I hope you have a good life
Thanks :)
